Artemide (Italian lighting company founded by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza 1958) have collaborated with a host of first class designers and architects, including Sir Norman Foster. More specifically, the Tolomeo lamp shown above was originally designed in 1989 by Architects Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina.
