Kyle Bean // Materialicious

In the words of the site itself www.materialicious.com (“shelter, materials and objects”) ‘is a user-submitted visual curation site featuring modern architecture and design, craftsmanship, materials and products’.

Whilst browsing the archives of this site, I came across some quirky designs by Brighton based designer Kyle Bean. Especially liking the ‘Russian doll’ style mobile phones (reflecting the evolution of phones over the years), (built for battle) paper aeroplane and models (made for display at Liberty), which have been constructed using Hermes packaging. Good example of recycling.
